Trip dispatches from Mission trip to Philippines and Thailand
Keep up with daily dispatches of my trip to Philippines and Thailand. I will be
documenting and helping Mission Love Seeds during distributions to villages in the
Philippines. I will continue to Thailand to meet a friend of mine whom I met in
Bayou La Batre during hurricane relief. There I will visit her business in Trat and
travel to Ubon where her refugee camp was some twenty five years ago.

10:45 p.m. - After 27 hours I am finally home. My experience in Philippines and
Thailand were great. During the trip I shot over 1200 images and 17 hours of footage.
I will process and post these to my website over the next few weeks.

8:48 am. - It's raining here in Ko Chang. The rainy season is just beginning.
If it clears up some I'll explore a bit on a moped ($2.50/day). There
are some elephants down the street where people can take elephant rides
into the jungle.

8:00 pm - We traveled from Bangkok to Trat via plane. Trat is a small village
near Cambodia. We met up with my friend Phone and headed to Ko Chang for
the day. I found some bungalows to stay. They were about $25/day.

Begin trip from Ft. Walton at 6:00am. Swap planes in Memphis and arrive in Detroit at 11:30am est.
Plane leaves Detroit for Manila at 3:55pm est on NW 747-400.
