Philippines Dispatches March 2007

Below are dispatches from a trip I took with Mission Love Seeds to the Philippines. Since my original website was “DESTROYED” by mal-ware I am searching archives to find many posts and dispatches I did on those travels. This was before the days of BLOG and BLOGGING and my Internet was limited and scarce. Sometimes this was the only way to reach home as phone and text were not available as well. ANYWAY, here is are some dispatches I found from a trip in March of 2007.

NOTE- Part of this trip was to the southern Philippines as well. This is a photo from the island of Jolo with the US military.

On March 4, 2007 I will return to the Philippines to work in villages I visited in June 2006. This page will serve as a launch point for dispatches, reports and other news about the trip. March 17,2007 – Back Home
After 36 hours of travel I finally made it home. Over the next few days/weeks I will compile images, video, stories etc… and post them. Special thanks to Fely, Michael and family for taking care of us on the trip.


March 15, 2007 – MEDCAP in Parang
Today we rode with convoy to see MEDCAP in Parang on Sulu Island.

March 14, 2007 – Jolo
We took a chopper to Jolo today. I took some pics for a road project for the military. Went out on convoy from Jolo base to see school and deliver personel.

March 12, 2007 – Video Conference
Today we setup a video conference between children in the Philippines and children in the United States. Watch Video
Note: March 13-17 I will be traveling to remote areas with limited access. My contact tells me I should be able to get some info out occasionally.

March 8, 2008 – Art at Admiral

March 6, 2007 11:00p.m. – School of Binayuyo
Before our work at the Binayuyo distribution site we visited the school for Binayuyo village. It is very different from any school we had seen. Read Article


March 4, 2007 – Ready? I hope so… Well it’s 24 hours of travel. We leave Atl at 12:20p.m. EST and arrive in Seoul Korea 16 hours later. After 3 hour layover we take a 3hr flight into Manila. We will arrive around 12:00a.m. on March 6 (Phil Time) and begin work that morning.


March 1, 2007 – Binayuyo Building Update
The multipurpose building ay Binayuyo is nearly complete. Our first stop when we arrive will be to complete and dedicate the building.
